Jamie Ness is a contemporary artist based in Dunblane, Scotland. With the aim of increasing Jamie's presence in the art world, I was hired to design and deliver a portfolio website, CD-ROM based portfolio, point-of-sale A6 postcards and business cards.

I knew from the beginning of this project that my design work had to be as understated and unobtrusive as possible, but at the same time elegant. The design approach had to serve the artwork itself, not swamp it.

The website was built in Flash, allowing for an exact duplicate of the site to be viewed on CD-ROM without the need for an internet connection.

The business cards and A6 postcards were printed on thick 400gsm matte-laminate card, allowing for a satin smooth finish with maximum durability.
